English Schools Championships

Both John Fisher athletes were succesful in the England Schools at Gateshead. Patrick Lucas reached the final, and finished in 6th place in the inter boys 800m. His time was 1.56.59 which was an excellent performance in a strong field.
David Olajiga threw a personal best of 14.59m to finish in 3rd position in the junior boys shot. This was David's first major championship completing an excellent season for him. David was only 3cm behind Nathan Best of Whitgift whom he had beaten in the Surrey schools championships in June.
