We had a tough initial group at the Surrey Festival.

A 2-0 win over Reigate Grammar, was followed by a 1-0 loss to RGS, Guildford. The short time of the matches and the slippery conditions meant our best rugby was not on show.

We were unlucky not to beat Whitgift with a 0-0 draw, as we were much improved and had relentless pressure on their line. We ran out of energy in the final group game losing to KCS Wimbledon 3-1.

This placed us in a group with St. George's, Kingsdale and Hinchly Wood.

Both St George's and Hinchly Wood were overcome 3-1 with the last match cancelled after Kingsdale unfortunately had to withdraw.

A good day out for the students who improved as the day progressed.
